What we collect, and when
Contact form. If you send an enquiry we receive the details you type: your name, email address, organisation and message. Form delivery is processed by Web3Forms and arrives in our email, which runs on Google Workspace.
Bookings. Appointments are scheduled through Google Calendar's booking service. The details you enter there (name, email, and any notes) are handled by Google and appear in our calendar. Paid sessions are processed by Google's payment integration; we never see or store card details.
The assistant. Messages you type or speak to our website assistant are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a reply. We do not store your conversation on our servers; your chat history lives only in your own browser for the duration of your session and is deleted when you close the tab. Please don't share sensitive personal information with the assistant.
The living homepage. Our homepage artwork uses your approximate, city-level location (derived from your network address by our hosting provider) to look up the local public weather forecast. This happens per visit, is never stored, is never linked to you, and involves no request for your device's location.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate location, device type). This data is aggregated and does not identify you. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking analytics cookies.
Preferences. Accessibility and voice settings are stored only on your device (browser storage), never sent to us.
Why we collect it
To respond to enquiries, run booked sessions, provide the assistant's answers, improve the website, and carry out engagements you ask us to. We do not sell personal information, run advertising trackers, or build marketing profiles.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers process data outside Australia, primarily in the United States: Google (email, calendar, analytics), Anthropic (assistant replies), Web3Forms (form delivery) and Vercel (website hosting). We choose providers with strong security practices and share only what each service needs to function.
Security and retention
Enquiries and client records are kept in access-controlled systems for as long as needed to serve you and meet legal obligations, then deleted. If a data breach ever occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected people and the OAIC in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: email info@nexerada.com.au and we'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
